One of my favorite movies.
Got the VHS from Ebay, and while it's not the first VHS I ordered, it was the first to arrive at my home, technically making it the first addition to my collection.
I'm unsure what year this VHS is from, the dating on it gives me some hope it might be an original copy from the 80s - but I believe the Contemporary Classics collection is from the mid to late 90s.
This is a special anniversary edition from 1997, I believe made for the 20th anniversary of Halloween's original release.
I'm either way lucky to have it. There are some minor imperfections with the casing but that kind of thing doesn't bother me if the tape is at the very least working, and it seems in stellar condition.
This I know has to be an original home video VHS release, seeing as this movie is from the early 2000s.
It's the English dub, note the Disney logo, I reckon if I went looking for a Japanese subbed VHS that kind of thing would take me forever to find at a reasonable price.
Funny story, I accidentally got two of this VHS.
I placed a pid on two seperate listings, thinking there was a slim chance I'd win both of them... and I ended up winning both of them. Oh well! At least both are in good condition.
Again, the English dub from Disney. If I had to guess, this may be from 1999. I'm not sure, since as far as I could tell there was no dating on the case or tape itself.
This one is from the seller DeadMediaJunkies on Etsy.
Custom-made fansub VHS of Serial Experiments Lain... and I was VERY grateful to get it, seeing the insane prices official Lain VHSes sell for.
Custom case and tape covering too, I assume. It's very professionally made.
Japanese import of The Little Mermaid, unsure what date the tape is from, as I don't remember if the seller listed it, and I couldn't find a date on the casing.
IIRC, the seller said it was Japanese dubbed. Unsure if there are subs too, and if there aren't, I don't think I know enough about speaking and translating Japanese or VHS editing to add them.
